Q.1 What is dual membership?
The member must be active within both the SHRM national and the local chapter. You must be an SHRM national active member in order to be able to join MCSHRM.
Q,2 If I am a current MCSHRM member, can I renew with MCSHRM only at or before my expiration membership date?
No, you must contact SHRM national and apply for dual membership with them. You will not be able to renew with us your membership directly.
Q.3 Can I join MCSHRM? Yes, you can join MCSRHM as long as you join SHRM national or renew with SHRM national (when you join SHRM national or renew your SHRM yearly membership, please select MCSHRM as a local chapter).
Q.4 Can I join MCSHRM at a later time? Yes, you can always add MCSHRM to your national SHRM membership but you must pay the fee with them (contact SHRM for further instruction).
Please ensure that your profile in both SHRM and MCSRM match i.e. (same email, same name, same address)
